Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Most burger restaurants in the United States often serve hamburgers with French fries and other condiments. If you have a liking for burgers in the United States, then you won't be disappointed. I was impressed my bacon cheeseburger was great. Bacon cooked crispy liked I asked and my patty was extra well done liked I asked too. I didn't notice the lettuce and tomato nor did I taste them. (I think I was really hungry) the patty was fresh and tasty. I also ordered the Smash fries and these were disappointing. They were shoe string fries with rosemary and garlic. They needed more seasoning and more flavor. Hubby ordered double classic and regular fries. He enjoyed his burger but fries were just ok. Only complaint was that they didn't grill his onions like he asked and a little too much mustard. My burger again was yummy would order again. Burger was a four star for me. It was so tasty

Better than the usual fastfood chain options at the airport. Made fresh, figure 7-8 minutes from when you place your order until its ready, so if you're rushing for a flight, you might need to look somewhere else. Not too greasy, but still juicy enough. Plenty of options for customizing. Biggest complaint is the lack of space to sit down, around mealtimes, the seating area is often hogged up with single passengers and carryon luggage that hang out after eating.

I love free standing SmashBurger Restaurants. Unfortunately this is the location at the SLC International Airport and it is pretty "meh" in comparison to its brethren. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and Smash fries. The total check was a little under $10. I waited about 8 minutes for food despite the fact that the place wasn't busy. The burger was so so, visually unappealing but tasted "ok." Inexplicably, one of the egg buns was slightly frozen. The fries were good. The container was 75% full and kind of a rip off at $2.19. Unfortunately, I think that at least 80% of the problem here is the staff. They are simply standing around, no management in site. They embodied airport good in every way: from dumping 8 ketchup packages in a takeaway paper bag for my "eat in" order to the dirty tables. They don't care and it shows. This is not the same as any SmashBurger I've ever been to. It's fine in a pinch, but I found myself thinking that it was below McDonald's execution at Chilis airport prices.

Worst burger joint I have ever gave money to. I paid $8 for this THIN slice of chicken.....really? Never again!
(1)Bruce K.
Meat. Cheese. Fries. Now THAT was a good burger. Aside from the insane levels of fat and calories, why would anyone want a boring cold sandwich when they could have this instead? Located pretty far down the D concourse, there aren't that many other options right here. If you want to head up towards the main terminal and maybe try out the other concourses, that's fine. But right here and right now, it's burger time. You'll want to grab yourself some extra napkins because it's gonna get messy!

I have eaten at many Smash Burgers in Utah and Idaho. But this one is bad. If I could give a lesser of 1 star I would it's really that bad. So this is the third time I've eaten here at the Smash Burger located in the slc airport. Each time very very disappointed on the quality of food. Today the burger was under cooked the fries were cold and saturated with oil, they did replace the fries but they were not much better. I'm not sure what the management can do to improve the quality but it's really that bad here. Definitely will pass on this location.

Ordered the guacamole burger- just alright. Nothing special. Decent amount of avocado. Nicely toasted wheat bun.
(3)Steven C.
It's okay. I couldn't help but think while munching on my classic smash burger that it's a $6 better version of a McDonald's cheeseburger? That smash sauce they used in the burger just evoked thoughts of that mustard and ketchup put together. Shrug. Better & fresh ingredients are obviously used here, I liked the spongy soft bun but thought the overall burger was okay. The skinny shoestring fries were okay as well. I get the idea that burger fast food joints are shifting towards the more artisan restaurant burgers & that there's a demand for it, but Smashburger simply didn't really make me go hey, lets drop my In n Out burger! A similar competitor would be Super Duper burgers in this category of $5-8 burgers & a better alternative.
(3)Jen K.
Since most typical airport food is overpriced and I really didn't want another dry, boring, waste of my money sandwich I was happy to see a Smashburger with prices under $10. Had a layover and was scooping out my options and settled on Smashburger and just got a classic for $5.92. Is it the best burger in town, no, but it'll do for a quick, cheap dinner before I board my flight.
(3)Doug T.
Uh.. it's airport chain food.. the most alluring aspect was that they had a garlic fries so I could stink out the other passengers and not have them talk to me on the place & they had a couple of power outlets that people weren't hovering around trying to charge their devices to play angry birds or candy crush..
(3)Dariel S.
First time trying Smash Burger and it was good but I would still give 5 guys the edge. I will say the Smash fries were good, they're tossed in rosemary and olive oil.
(4)Julie K.
Nice to be able to get a black bean burger at the airport! Sweet potato fries were tasty. Only drawback was cleanliness of tables and that I wasn't offered ketchup or mayo. These things were available but had to ask instead if it being on offer. Still a quick tasty lunch at SLC.
(3)Antonio M.
Quick and fast service. Food cooked to order and service was friendly. The veggie burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. No complains, not sure why this place got bad ratings. It's a fast food joint in an airport not some fancy place.
(5)Dwayne D.
Excellent food and service. The fries were a bit on the cool temperature wise, but overall decent. The burgers were cooked very well and had plenty of flavor. This location has a nice drink selection too. Plenty of flavors to choose from.
(4)Stefanie P.
At the airport? Deciding where to eat? We got a burger and rosemary fries from Smashburger. Awesome, fries a bit messy and eat them before you get on the plan. Burger was good but a bit pricy. I'm interested in going to other SmashBurgers, likely not one in the airport. Damn good fries.
(3)Lynda M.
So this was my first experience eating at a Smashburger. I ordered the Avocado Swiss Cheese Black Bean Burger. Sounded good, price was reasonable. I can hardly describe what was served. First of all, it was not even closed to being cooked. Just kind of raw and squishing out of the bun. Really was not pleasing at all, to look at or to eat. The only reason I'm giving this restaurant even two stars is because the Smash Fries were pretty good. A little on the greasy side, but flavorful and different. The service also left something to be desired. Took about 10 minutes to get my order, the person who ordered after me got his before I did. What took SO long I don't know, as they didn't even cook my burger. Probably this will be my first and last trip to a Smashburger.
(2)Sara M.
This was a fun find at SLC. I assume it is reasonably new there because I had not seen it last time I was passing through. We had some time between flights so we stopped for a snack. It was convenient to the gate areas, at D Gates by the main walkway. The service was quick, the fries (sweet potato) fresh, the place clean. A nice thing is that a takeout bag from here is not as smelly as those of their older competitor at the airport, so if people are eating at the gate area, the smell is less noticeable to other travelers sitting in the area. For me, that is also a win.
(4)Lynn E.
I'm loving the trend of restaurants in airports vs concessions. The Salt Lake City airport is a feast of dining options. French, Mexican, Greek, a wine bar, AA brew pub, McDonald's and near my gate -- Smash Burger. This was my first Smash Burger visit so as a novice I kept it simple to savor the flavors. The basic burger is served on an egg bun and I had extra pickles, lettuce and tomato with ketchup. The first bite took me back to my backyard when I was a kid.....this is a good old fashion burger circa 1960-something. It's didn't feel mass produced. It was tasty and filling and I googled it down with relish. Yup, I'll be back. Perhaps not to this exact location maybe something in Atlanta in the near future.
(4)Deb G.
The worst service ever had, bar none here at SLC airport. 28 of us! Currently waiting on our orders, and not a number called in 10 minutes! It doesn't master that they may be good when they are so understaffed. Avoid them or miss your flight. If I could give it less....
(1)Jonathan C.
I have to say don't believe the hype. The burgers are extremely over priced in consideration for what you receive. And yes my burger was really smashed. The meat was not seasoned to it tasted like a old degraded and poorly made meatloaf. Their is no sauce at all on the burgers bs the cheese over melted and the beef way over cooked so of course it was dryer than the Mohave desert. Honestly I'm sad I even wasted my money on this pressed piece of shit which I now refuse to acknowledge as a burger. People will to eat shit and not knowing what good food is has made this business.
(1)Troy C.
I am not a big breakfast fan so I was happy to see that these guys server a burger for breakfast, sure it had an egg on it but that is a good thing. The egg burger was tasty, hot and fresh. Not much to say about service or price, this is in the airport so both were as expected, too much of one and not enough of the other.
(4)Eric L.
the photo of a chocolate shake caught my eye: the glistening glass the aluminum mixer, the rich brown color. And it was under $5. That can't be right. Well, I asked if they were as large as the photo. No, he honestly replied while showing me the glass. Okay, that's a reasonable price for the size and I needed chocolate. It was worth a try. No, it probably wasn't. It was edible and I finished most of it (did I mention a chocolate craving?). It was fair, like their other products. For the money, I don't know why this chain is surviving. You can do better if you walk a little further.
(2)Catherine F.
Here right at noon, service was chill. The sweet potato fries are hot and crispy soft with good flavor. Bo lunch deal so burger fries and drink are separate, total for all three was about 12 dollars. No usb or power outlets at the seats which is most likely by design because there is limited seating. The burger was really smashed but tasty perhaps on the salty side. Great bun.
(4)Deano G.
The airport location needs some help. Fries are greasy and undercooked, burger dry and overlooked... And all of it in a small space with a price that's way too high for an average burger. Needs improvement if you want me to go back!
(2)robert c.
The burger was good. The egg bun was good. Just a strange combination. I would never put an egg bun on a burger and I would never serve a burger with ketchup The rosemary fries were good but a little to greasy and overpowered with rosemary. I'm not a real fan of shoestring potatoes So the bottom line is would I try smash burger again No I prefer in and out which has excellent burgers and fries and is always a delight to go too! And in and out is way cheaper
(2)Boo M.
That was a truly bad burger. I can't wrap my head around it. Did I catch them on a horrible day? The patty was dry, over cooked and utterly flavorless. I'm a little pissed that I just put that in my body.
(1)Mario G.
Being at the airport options are limited, it seemed like a good idea. I had the bacon smashburger , bacon was not crispy but that's not good or bad just different. The patties were either mustard fried or it just had a ton of mustard. to top it off it seems lik yelp is mocking me by telling me to put some mustard on this review. The burger was juicy/greasy even on the bun and all I could taste was mustard. The fries with rosemary on them in my opinion conflict with a meal served with a hamburger, it tastes pretty much like bread dipped in oil and vinegar like appetizers at most Italian restaurants. I actually like French fries with the mix of ketchup and mayo so it ruined that for me. The Oreo shake tasted like Oreo so you can't really mess that up right?....I'm a bit concerned about my stomach now, hoping this burger doesn't hit when the seatbelt sign is lit! Aww man...
(2)Jennifer A.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a Smashburger at SLC airport during my layover. The last time I had a Smashburger was on the beach in Del Mar! I must have beat the lunch rush because I ordered and had my food in 10 minutes, but a pretty big crowd had gathered during the time I was eating. I had the club burger and it was delish. But then again, how can you go wrong with avocado and bacon?? The regular burger is definitely big enough and the fries are pretty good too. Smashburger is a step up from McDonalds and Burger King and a nice find for an airport.
(4)Doug D.
I love my smash burger at home but all I got at this airport location was a burnt burger and cold fries! It was shift change and employees were bringing food from other restaurants to eat before their shift. What a disappointment, I travel through SLC often. I will never eat at this smash burger agian!
(1)Anna Marie P.
I've always liked Smash Burger in CA, so it was nice to find one in the airport as an alternative to McDonald's etc. the airport one doesn't have the variety of the outside ones, but the burger was fresh and very flavorful. I love the egg roll for a bun and the condiments were good, refreshing for an airport. My only complaint was that they were alittle slow, which in an airport is not a good thing. We just barely made our plane...
(3)Liliana G.
Great burger (for fast food) and amazing fries! Pretty fast service considering how busy it was on Xmas day. A little on the spendy side. I'd be interested to see the difference between prices at this airport location vs. a regular store. Bonus points for this location being right across from a Krispy Kreme.
(4)Michelle R.
I needed a quick bite during my 1 hour layover, and this place didn't have a line. I was actually quite impressed that the burgers were pretty tasty, and I did the "build your own" and got it the way I wanted it. For airport food, I'm giving this a B+
(4)Peter P.
I had never heard of this place before, but as I was walking through the terminal, I noticed the huge line of people. I later found out it was some kind of minor chain so I decided to try it. The burger was cooked to order and the toppings were well-selected. But the star of the show were the rosemary fries for sure.
(3)Dave F.
Wow, this was the all-time thinnest chicken sandwich! This chicken must have been on a starvation diet or anorexic prior to being served @ Smashburger. Chick Fil-a would have laughed at this sandwich--or, they could use it in an add! This Smashburger located in a Delta Terminal in SLC is usually overrun with people. I'm not really sure why it's so busy as the food was simply OK, perhaps even 2.5 star on an airport scale. The chipotle mayo is doused on such that you get an orange-drippy feel with every meal. I'm not sure how many napkins we went through, but lets just say, this was not a green meal--but, we were lucky and no mayo hit the clothing. The process works where you order, stand off to the side and eventually they call your number. If you have a tight connection (30 min or less) skip this place. The crew looked a little bewildered late on a weekend, so I suspect the first team was on the bench. Next time, I'll opt for the burger. Eat more beef!
(2)Mel B.
It's located in Terminal N and so was I after a early flight from Vegas hungry for some breakfast. So I decided to get a breakfast burger which consisted of meat, fried egg, bacon & cheese. It was so good, nice and juicy and a little bit messy but in a good way. I've been to Smashburger before and have to say the airport one is just as good and fresh as all the others. Fast and great service as well at this location.

MMM Airport Food
(3)James H.
I enjoy the sweet potato fries and the chicken sandwich with mushrooms. It's nice to top it off with a milk shake.
(4)Divya V.
Had a 1 hour layover and the Spicy Baja Black Bean Burger was calling my name. This is my first smash burger experience. The line is kinda long but the hold up is when people wait 10 mins and then go up to the counter and say "ummmmm i think i might get this or maybe that...... i dunno" how annoying! Anyways, the burger had the right kick to it.... it wasn't super spicy to me. It was moist and flavorful. We also got Sweet Potato Smashfries - DIVINE!
(4)John P.
I will give it one star because the help is breathing. That is the worst service and excuse for a burger I have ever seen. Seriously guys you need to rethink your plan. I can get this quality at DQ. Your cashier has a terrible attitude. Your fries were cold. There was so much mustard on the sandwich I had to take hLf the bun off. Fortunately the Coke company held up their end and delivered a perfect drink. Do seething that distinguishes your food. What you have now does not !
(1)Chris D.
This is one of the better places to grab a bite at an airport. The smash fries were the greasy goodness that you'd expect from a place called "Smashburger". I really liked the light seasoning of rosemary and garlic that added a nice little extra to the fries, but wasn't overpowering. The burger was a little disappointing and I would rate just above a typical fast food burger. Another good thing is they cook the food to order so it's pretty fresh, but the downside is that it takes a little longer to get your food (especially if there is a line) so make sure you have plenty of time so you don't miss your flight.
(3)Phil T.
I was in SLC for some work related bidness. I told my ride that was picking me up at the airport that I was going to eat dinner there and would call when ready to be picked up. I've heard of this Smashburger but have not had the chance to try it. I know they recently opened one I believe in Culver City (or somewhere around there). I rarely get to that area so I used this opportunity to try it. I ordered a cheeseburger and a soda. No fries. The burger was fine. They had many different options available but I went with the classic. Not a bad burger. Probably cost a little more because it was in the airport. I would certainly come back again if I wanted a burger. being that there are no smashburgers by my house or where I work thats not likely to happen anytime soon. I'll tell you what, this place is way better then that over rated Habit Burger.
(3)Kenna I.
The smash fries were awesome! I didn't try the burgers but my coworkers said they were great too. I will def go again and try the burger, hopefully they do a lettuce wrap I forgot to ask tonight.
(4)Cynthia M.
I only tried the fries here, but they were just okay. Completely underseasoned but decently crispy. I do like their to go ketchup dipping packets tho :)
(3)Jamie H.
This was probably the worst experience I've ever had at smash burger, possibly because it was in an airport. I asked for no pickle (that was it!) and they did not put ANY of the lettuce tomato or onion (no veggies essentially) and I'm already on my flight out and very disappointed :( I couldn't eat my burger because it was too heavy and plain.
(1)Erin C.
Airport food. Eh.
(2)Anthony R.
Burger awesomeness makes up almost entirely for the constantly dirty tables and usually robotic service. Takes a while but worth it.
(4)John C.
Update: I visited this same location two more times since I left my initial review. Unfortunately on both of those occasions I received terrible service and mediocre food. The staff appears to have been replaced with an unfriendly and apathetic crew. No smiles or thank you to be had. The food was greasy, and put together in a sloppy pile. I ordered avocado for an additional 1.00 charge and received a slice (about the size of my finger). Overall, I hope this place returns to great restaurant that I originally reviewed.
(3)Brad S.
I don't know what the fuss is all about with Smashburger but I would prefer McD's or Wendy's over this place. Not impressed at all. Maybe one of their store locations (rather than the airport) serves better food but if this place is any indicator, I'm not going to bother trying one of the other location out.
(1)Keith R.
HAVE AGAIN: The bacon avocado burger was good, but it needs cheese and ketchup. NOT HAVE AGAIN: The Haagen Daz chocolate shake was too thin and not enough ice cream.
(3)J A.
Best airport burger! I have never had a smash burger and while they are not in my top three burgers of all time, they were very good and fresh. I had the sweet potato fries and the mushroom burger. Everything was fresh and made to order. The burger patty was not a preformed frozen patty and you could tell.
(4)Wade N.
Worst airport restaurant in SLC. It's late in the evening and my guess is there is no manager on duty. Staff is busy dancing and singing in back but they don't have time to clean the tables. What a filthy mess. I will never return again. And I'm in this airport twice every week.
(1)Justin H.
I love this place normally, but this specific version was not as good. They lacked some of the delicious sauces that make smash burger so great. The fries were dry, when normally they have a great olive oil/rosemary flavor. The normal restaurant is one of my favorite burger places...this one seemed to miss the mark.
(3)William B.
Typical airport burger nothing special at all but hey when you are trapped inside beats eating from the vending machine.
(2)John P.
The wait was a little long, but the d terminal has very few choices for food. That being said, the breakfast sandwiches are outstanding. The order staff was definitely busy as the demand was huge. And we were able to get a seat and relax for a few minutes.
(4)Matt S.
Don't waste your time with this place. It's not the Smashburger you're used to. The quality of the food isn't good at all. About the only thing worth eating at this location is the garlic sweet potato fries. Total shit box.
(1)Paula P.
An excellent alternative to usual fast-food hamburgers. All burgers (and chicken sandwiches too) are made to order, so it may take a few minutes to prepare, but the burgers are quite good, worth the wait. Restaurant is clean (especially today as this is the first day they are open to the general public). There is a choice of different kinds of buns, and you have the option to build your own burger with a nice selection of additions. Not bad for an airport fast-food place!
(3)Mike T.
Never again. Horrible service. Girl filling orders slow and half asleep. Too bad. The older person..Jackie so nice. Too bad a younger worker ruined it all.
(1)Richard E.
Its a airport burger and fries. Fast and not too bad. If you need it to go it is a decent option also.
(3)Ash G.
First time eating Smashburger, man those burgers were delicious!! I ordered the smash burger (I think?) and that was amazing! Large and oh so juicy, I'm still drooling over it. My husband ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and he enjoyed it as well. The only issues I had was the customer service and the fries. The cashier clearly didn't want to be there and the fries were soaked in rosemary, which was overpowering. And they were lukewarm. For an airport restaurant this was an awesome meal during our layover from DC.
(3)Melissa M.
I love Smash Burgers food, so I was excited to see one at the SLC Airport during a long layover. However, the employees constant and loud bickering nearly ruined the experience. I feel like my food has been tainted by negativity and coworkers who can't stand to be around each other. I know that working at airport restaurants may be a challenge, but workers should know that they're dealing with people who are already stressed and want to have a positive travelling experience, including good service from the places they are going to for a quick bite.
(2)Benjamin B.
A friend of mine's Dad is Mr Smashburger. Like, he invented it because he's a genius and I've been promising her that the next time I went to the States I'd hit it up for her and her dad but mainly for me because buuuuuurrgerrrr tiiiiime. Plus I was wandering around the airport cold and alone with an hour to kill in Salt Lake City and I had a book but was looking for an excuse not to read it because who even reads these days? Not when there's video games. I'm a purist so I ordered the Classic Smash and sat down to eat it, pulled it out of the bag, unwrapped the wrapper, and lo and behold there was a burger that looked just like it did in the menu photo, that never happens. I marveled at that a little then heffed into it, the cheese content was good, the bun was good, the juiciness was damn good. If their tagline isn't "Go Smash A Smashburger" it damn well should be.
(4)Heather W.
During a recent trip my husband and I wanted to grab a bite while at the airport. We didn't want something super-typical (like a Wendy's or McDonald's), but also didn't want something that was too expensive or that took too long. This was our first experience with Smashburger. The menu and photos actually looked pretty good. We ordered a big French fry to share, it was ok, and each got a sandwich. He orders a cheeseburger and I got a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado on it. I won't knock them for price, because, frankly everything in the airport is overpriced... No major complaints but the sandwiches were both overcooked/dry and the service was very unfriendly. It wasn't terrible but it also wasn't great.
(3)Sugey L.
Sweet potato fries. That is what makes the difference for me. Their burgers are good, but the fries, oh lordy! It's a quick fix when needed. I don't go looking for this place specifically, but that day at the airport it was the best option and it was great. Again, the sweet potatoes do it for me.
(4)Mandy O.
I ordered the truffle mushroom swiss and it's really good! The fries aren't really all that but this burger is pretty tasty.
(4)Claire J.
Stopped here during a layover because the Italian place next door was going to take 15-20 minutes for a takeout order. Much to my chef-father's dismay, I only like burgers very well done... So I asked for my burger well done. I was told that's how they cook all of them. Perfect! They pulled the gate to close up as I was waiting for my burger, even though the sign said they were open for another 30 minutes. My order was ready within a minute or two - bonus! I walked over to my gate to eat only to discover my burger was anything but well done. I tried just eating around the edges but it was way pink, borderline red. No thanks. Glad I ordered a side of fries - the fries were delicious but the burger was a waste of $5.
(2)Carol G.
First, beware of hitting this place up near closing. I am not sure if they are normally slow but I was anxiously watching my gate, waiting for my food, and I was the only order with at least four people working. The garlic sweet potato fries were delicious! I probably won't buy them again before boarding a flight because they stunk up the plane. But they were tasty! The black bean burger was smooshy - it was flavorful but the texture wasn't fabulous. I would probably skip this next time. Overall, it's a decent place to stop if you have time... but I think there are better places in SLC to dine.
(2)Raina D.
HAIR IN FOOD ALERT! I had the black bean burger, only ate 1/4th of it before I encountered a hair and threw it out (cuz there was a line of 20 people, hardly seemed worth the wait to complain). Wasn't very good aside from the hair, had raw jalapenos on it which seemed odd, but other than that it was all very mushy, no texture. Also had the smash fries--too much rosemary and they had a strange texture.... chewy... not sure how you make a potato chewy.... Won't be back!
(2)George L.
It's good to know they have a location here at this airport transfer stop, with time permitting, I would make the effort to stop by. Great tasting, juicy chicken burger and delicious fries. Chicken that's cooked moist, juicy, tender, not overcooked, dried, tough. Hooray. Order, pay at counter. Dine in or take away.
(4)Johanna G.
Skip the fries. Drenched in oil, couldn't even eat them.
(2)Chad W.
This place is a failstorm. The fries were overcooked and inconsistant (some more burnt than the others) and looked nothing like the pictures on their website. The burger was wrong and had to go back. Finally, the only cheese they have is american, when almost every other burger joint in the world has other cheese options, this was quite surprising. Burger was meh, toppings were minimal, the best thing was the avacado.
(1)John M.
I had a Black Bean Veggie burger with sweet potato rosemary fries. I had the meal at the restaurant. The burger was well cooked, tasted good and had fresh vegetables. The rosemary fries (first time had rosemary in my fries) tasted good. Only con: long wait for order to be placed. But it was fulfilled and returned within 5-10 mins.
(4)Janae L.
On my way back home to Cali I had a lay over in SLC, I was craving a burger and ta-da! There was smash- overall it was delish! They were a little busy but still managed to get me in and out quick! I got the Spicy Baja burger, YUM! Def will stop by again if im in this state!

I was pleasantly surprised by Smashburger. I was looking to save a few bucks so I got the grilled cheese kids meal. For $5 I got a grilled cheese, fries and a drink. Not to bad for an airport meal. And it was good. But I guess its hard to mess up grilled cheese. Service was kinda slow, which could be bad being that its in the airport. It's right across the hall from Krispy Kreme so save room for a doughnut! Overall, good value for what you get.

I checked into this place while I was standing in line but I didn't actually get a chance to try the food. I had half an hour til my departure. Given that the line didn't move in at least 5 minutes with 6-8 people ahead of me (which gave me a chance to read the other reviews), I grabbed a premade turkey sandwich at the place directly across from here and ate it at the gate.

Ugh.... I tried this place during a stopover at Salt Lake City. This place took an unusually long time and the food was very heavy. I should have known better but I wanted to try something I don't normally get. I don't like the food or the service at this branch, so that'll be it for me.

Talk about disorganized. Don't expect anything to be fast here. If you can endure the seemingly incompetent workers, the food is ok, although quite greasy. The one positive is that they serve breakfast all day, helpful when coming from other time zones. There are very limited options in this airport, so you might just have to endure it.

Overall not bad for fast food. I had the Spicy Baja Chicken burger, which was loaded with guacamole and chipotle mayo. The burger was pretty big and I got my food made to order in about 5min. I don't normally eat fast food but needed a bite and my plane was about to board, so not a bad experience for the value.

When ordering my food I overheard the staff arguing over who was going to make a shake. This went on for about 10 min until someone finally made it. The burger was tasty but the fries were shoestring but had good flavor as they were tossed in olive oil, rosemary and garlic. The shake was nothing to write home about. I always wanted to try it and now I'm glad I did because I won't have to go back.

It beat the McD's at an airport, thats for sure.

Good food, but nothing spectacular. Not bad for airport fast food.

Quick burger eat with smash fries. Not bad. One notch better than fast food but not a standout. If you are craving a burger at the airport, skip McDonalds and head here. Service was a little bit slower but you know they aren't microwaving it.

I ordered a chicken sandwich with mushroom and swiss cheese. First I'll admit I made a mistake of asking for crispy instead of grilled chicken. The lady at the counter had already put it in order before I asked if I could change it from crispy to grilled again. She said it should be no problem and stepped away to talk to the kitchen. I could see and hear the guy in the kitchen complaining, but he seems to have complied in the end - at least no one told me they wouldn't change my order. When I got my order, I didn't open it until I was at my boarding gate. I was disappointed to find that the chicken was still crispy, not grilled. I don't have time to go back and ask them to change again. I probably would have been more understanding if they were busier, but no one was waiting in front of me, and the next customer took a while to finish his order. So for the whole time the only order they were dealing with was my one single chicken sandwich. It was the same price, and I asked for the change only within seconds after I put in my initial order. The food Itself was too greasy, and I felt a bit sick in the next two hours.

I figured I should try what they named themselves after, so I got their Smash burger. As far as I could tell, it's just an average burger with what they call "smash" sauce, but I couldn't really tell anything special about it. Meh, it was ok. Pretty average. I guess it was good for airport food?
